We’re ten days out from registration opening for ThriveLib 2026, and we are so ready!
This year’s conference runs August 11–13, and the theme – Reimagining Library Culture Together, shaped everything about how we built the program. We wanted sessions that feel useful and honest, that reflect what’s going on in library work right now, and that leave you with something real to take back to your workplace.
What’s on the schedule
Fifteen sessions. More than twenty speakers. Three days of honest, grounded conversation about the things library workers don’t always get space to say out loud.
We’ll talk about compassion fatigue and what it takes to recover from it. About leading authentically as a neurodivergent person. About building solidarity when there’s no budget and the system isn’t helping. About collective care for BIPOC library workers. About staying in this profession and finding your way back to why you came here in the first place.
Replays are planned for every session, so whether you can join us live or need to catch up on your own time, nothing is out of reach.
More than twenty speakers are joining us this year, and a lot of the sessions are collaborative, multiple voices, different perspectives, real dialogue.
Registration opens June 15
Tickets will be available at multiple price points, including a subsidized option for students, the unemployed, and the underemployed. We want as many people in the room as possible. Full details at thrivelib.com starting June 15.
If you came last year, welcome back. If this is your first time hearing about ThriveLib, we’re glad you found us. Either way, we hope to see you in August.
